Join our Chronic Pain Study!

  • Our medical experts are conducting a new research studying the VER-01, a cannabis extract of THC compared to placebo in the treatment of patients with chronic lower back pain, when prescription drugs are necessary and previous treatment with non-opioids did not work or could not be continued.
  • Aged between 18+​
  • Have persistent lower back pain (3 months or more​
  • Meet certain criteria if currently receiving medication or non-drug therapies
  • Consent to medication/drug screening throughout the study (~19wks)

What is Therapeutic Cannabis?

This investigational drug, VER-01 is developed by Vertanical. It contains a standardized dose of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in a small quantity of oral solution, administered via mouth. Dosing occurs during visits at our clinic. Because THC is a Schedule 1 product, our clinic is licensed by the state of Florida to conduct this study in a safe and controlled environment.
